Five years down the tunnel and the IT field was defined but not that eye-turning. There were a few working spaces for the IT at the tracks with a few staff having laptops to connect back to the factory, not to mention an analogue telephone line that was used to call people and to get reliable e-mail connection.Today, however the swift air of technological has swept the past problems by reintroducing IT systems that adapt well to operate with more prevalence. Formula 1 IT racing teams rely on the evolving technologies to make racing ends meet.

But how does this work? According to FIA each car is provided with up to 100 sensors placed in data capture positions which collects information and sends back to the pits during a race. The data collected can reach a maximum of 20 GB in a single race.

On the other side, the pit crews don’t send data back directly because it’s against FIA regulations. Despite this, the F1 cars have screen panels on the steering wheel that provides instruction to the driver defining a win and a loss at the tag line.

The F1 racing cars collect around four to six megabytes per lap in real time which are disbursed to the garage in no time through an integrated network.

Each racing car is dedicated three servers that run as virtual machines in the cloud. Maintenance of the physical servers requires intrepid protection from dust, rain, vibrations, heat, un-disturbed power and the essence of portability.

For instance the McLaren racing team invests on Blackberry unified channels and Lenovo hardware for both workstations and laptops.

The narration goes on unmentioned that a teenager named Bill France Sr. paid attention to his father’s Model-T Ford which he would steal to experience the power at high speeds. He would better skip school to see the amazement of the super car. And one day, he finds himself in Daytona Beach, Florida for automobile trials where he participated in the races until 1941, till the war halted the races. In 1947 the first meeting was held for stock cars automobile racing in Daytona, and France availed a pool of drivers, mechanics, and promoters to officiate the beginning of stock cars racing.

In 1948 NASCARs were born as exclusive stock cars that sprouted the air with racing fun. The post war atmosphere also was an ingredient in the coming up of stock cars. It wouldn’t be a good scenario racing with automobile from the pre-war, so they were modified forming the very early staples for stock cars.

It was in the 1949 that Bill France Sr. – NASCAR founder, brought out the idea of blending the usual family cars that were normal in the street such as the sedans. Luckily his idea was a great one as it required not much investment in remodeling the automobiles.

The basic part of the transformation was the tweaking of the engine to bring out the real roar of a race car. The structure didn’t require too much blending; window glass both the front and rear were intact, they only required ropes to be used as seat belts.

Weaknesses in the transformation couldn’t go undressed, there were problems associated with wheels and suspension failures due to normal road terrains.

But again a novel of solutions wasn’t that hard to think of. Tim Flock came up with a brilliant idea of a trap door to check the tire wear. Stock cars came into realm after many a brainstorming ideas were shot from all corners. We can only express our gratitude to the legendary drivers who brought the stock cars into play.

The history lane takes us back to 1800’s when rally were yet to be born. The first race was in held in Paris, France. It was sponsored by the French media including the Le Petit journal. Unlike today where winners are those that have the best time, during this year winners were measured based on the discretion of the map guide besides the drivers. After the first rally was successful, it initiated many other rallies across Europe and France. As usual with any sport, rules had to be defined as speeds increased and inclusive of the rules races were to be held in closed circuits. In 1906 Tour de France was born and progressed up to 1937 and become one of the worlds endowed rally among other rallies.

Other notable rally of this time includes the Monte Carlo rally that began in 1911 and is still the hot bar in the world or rallies. Despite the challenges in racing brought by the World War I and World War II Monte Carlo stood the tests of time and catapulted the world rally championship of this date.

Every country from around 1895 onwards especially Germany, England, and Italy had their own versions or rallies. For instance Italy rally was staged on mountains and islands, Britain took 1000 mile Trial that linked all cities and Germany rallies began in 1906 that included hill climbs and time challenges. With the enormous laws of Britain that couldn’t allow closure of highways, it led to the opening-up of roads on forests.

Other neighboring countries admired this and began the same and in 1973 the WRC combined the rallies into one patronage. As you can see that’s how WRC came into existence and today it has 13 races that travels through Mexico and throughout Europe. The schedules or rallies take drivers through snows and the dusty heated in summer.

Racing go cart isn’t a thing limited for the sports world anymore. You can actually use the same excitement at other social events to achieve a certain goal. The biggest goal of go cart racing, outside the sports world is to instill a bonding relationship between people. You might not know this but racing go cart can be one of the activities in the corporate world. Go cart racing is a perfect way of initiating a team work spirit among work colleagues. If the team leaders could organize a mini Grand Prix during those after work unwinding activities, it’s easy to duplicate the team work and competitive spirit at the field in the office as well.

Racing go cart among colleagues can help you identify the individuals who work best under pressure. So the Go Karts can be a way of evaluating your work force, though they won’t mind it.

Have you ever thought of racing go cart as a fun activity in a party? Yes it’s possible; parties don’t have to be just about loud music and gallons of booze. You can gather your friends during a party and hold a racing go cart event. You will be amazed by how much fun it’s going to be. You can even make it more interesting like winner gets the beautiful girl in the house or takes home the six-pack.

Racing go cart is the perfect way to build a good relationship with your work force when you’re out for a fun day. You can even hold a manager vs. employee competition. This will give the workforce a fun day to remember. If it’s a party this can be a good way to end the day and perhaps win you a girl/six-pack. But the bottom line is Go kart racing is a way of uniting people and definitely a way of life!

The gaming world has evolved a great deal since the time it was invented. There was a time when we only knew of Pac man, Super Mario, Sonic the hedgehog or mega man. However, today the gaming world is something quite different. We have technology to thank; the graphics have improved so are the ways in which we play the games. In the past there were only buttons to press but today we can be our own avatars in a video game thanks to the 3D technology. In particular we are going to look at the racing games, a popular treat for young boys growing up. However, you’ll be shocked that some of us grown up folks can drive a Viper SRT10 pretty first on NFS than we can our station wagons. So racing games is something both tots and adults can be comfortable with.

We are no longer in the Game boy period. Today we have the PS3, X box and the new gaming experience, Nintendo Wii. Racing games can be delivered in both three formats with the same high end graphics and sound effects that will raise the adrenaline.

A special feature of racing games is the deep rev of the engine just before you bolt out for a race. The added details in most race video games are just pure genius. You can get the NFS underground if you want to know what we are talking about.

There are so many racing games to choose out there – Night racer, 3D motorbike, Dirt Bike3, Off road madness GT or Shut up and Drive. It all depends with what game experience you are looking for if you are to select the right games.

But here’s a tip, be quick to read the case details before you choose from any of the racing games in the stores. Moreover, be sure you are buying something genuine and you can also check the reviews for a game before you decide whether it’s worth it.

There are lots of things you can do with your free time. For some of us we like hanging out at clubbing joints, others like a game of pool, snooker or ping pong. Better yet, others would love a nice weekend of watching movies and for a good number of us, snoozing away isn’t a bad idea. But have you ever thought of racing and sports betting?Racing and sports betting isn’t new to us. It goes way back but today it’s one of the past-times, the rich folks like to indulge in. But it doesn’t have to be a rich man’s game only. You can start by knowing how the rules go as far as racing and sports betting are concerned.

Take the case of horse racing. It’s a majestic game in which you need to learn all the rules in order to sail safely through it. Moreover, you need all the betting tricks involved. This will involve knowing the best horses in the field.

So before you even cast your bet in horse betting or any other racing and sports betting out there first learn the basics of the game. For horses, do an ample research on each horse and know which one has the best probability to win. But again it’s a game of chance so you might as well focus on the enjoyment more than the actual winning.

But here is another in racing and sports betting; never bet blindly. You should know every move you make in the game if you are to win. Participating in the game is fun but winning is exhilarating.

Here is another quick tip for you – you can utilize some of the racing and sports betting services already established. This works great for you if you are a rookie in the whole idea.

For the 2011 season series, the Formula one regulation for race cars racing the circuits has changed as per the FIA board guidelines. F1 racers have different rules to follow this time around; some of the new rules for the F1 2011 season are as follows:Car liveries:

For the race cars racing in all the Grand Prix circuits, vehicles together with their drivers must use the same set of colors throughout the race. The team color should be constant in order to distinguish the various teams racing as per the FIA board regulations.

To increase on driver and vehicle distinction, every car must have a unique number printed on the body going along with the driver’s name. Only two race cars racing in the Grand Prix are allowed for all teams. Both cars carry different colored onboard cameras to define them from each other.

No F-ducts this time around:

The F-ducts are otherwise known as double diffusers. They are used in regulating the aerodynamics of the vehicle during a race to increase its controllability. But this time around, all race cars racing in the Grand Prix will have to do without. But F1 race cars are now allowed to adjust the rear wings as well during racing.

Hi-tech race cars racing the circuits are now allowed to change their rear wing angle from the cockpit. But front wings have been banned this time round since they have been replaced by the rear adjustments.

Driver switches:

All race cars racing in the Grand Prix are assigned four drivers each. Driver changes are only allowed before the qualifying periods of the race. But here’s the catch; the new drivers in the circuit have to work with the same wheel used by the previous driver.

These are just a few of the new 2011 FI regulations. To access the full portfolio you can log onto the FI website and get the entire details.

There is something about motor racing than never fails to thrill us; perhaps it’s the torque in the wheels or the driver’s unique skill behind the wheels. Or when a car raves up, makes drift turns in corners or when a motor bike flies in there in a super duper stunt. Bike or automobile racing isn’t about to die soon and we won’t stop asking for our champions for autographs.Motor racing is a sport that commands the same share of fans like the premier league or the NBA.

Over the years it has moved from being just a sport to now an entertainment kick. The racing idea forms the core of movies like Torque or Fast & Furious where a few drifts and stunts are added to sky rocket the ecstasy.

We have various kinds of motor racing; there is bike, Formula 1 and the WRC.

For some of us bike racing is what we are into as a motor racing sport.

The Grand Prix for the bikes is where the excitement is featured; powerful and strong built 500CC tearing at each other for a lead and possibly a win.

And we also have our own league of champions we can boast about, from Giacomo Agostini, Carlo Ubbiali to Valentino Rossi.

While the bike fans coo over their champions, the WRC fans also have something to say about their world. The beautiful city of Monaco is the climax of it all; race cars tearing through the city amid cheers trying to claim the WRC motor racing victory. Sandro Munari, Carlos Sainz or Ari Vatanen is some of the household name for the WRC fans.

F1 motor racing can’t be forgotten especially with the tight and difficult racing circuits and of course the super fast formula 1 race cars. We don’t need to talk much about this field of sport; the likes of Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton speak for themselves.
